I saw had a ‘watched shows’ list as a pin, and thought that sounded like a great idea!įeel free to drop me an ask about anything I’ve watched, headcanons or ships or whatever, I love talking about shows! I can’t promise I’ll do any prompts, but if you feel like dropping one on me I’ll at least give you my thoughts about it. Ransacked graveyards, it’s perfectly puzzling Onaji koto bakka itte”Ĭain: “Augh! I can’t do this anymore! One more page and I’ll lose it!”Īkira: “There’s just too much to get through! Let’s get the other wizards to help too!”Ĭhloe: “Geez, you said that earlier too! All you do is repeat yourselves!” Hoka no mahoutsukai no minasan ni mo tetsudatte moraimashou!”Ĭhloe: “Mou, sakki mo sou ittetajankaa. Lyrics for "Investigation Time" from the third Mahoyaku stage playĬain: “Aa dame da! Mou jiyou o yomi sugite atama ga itaku natte kita!”Īkira: “Ryou ga oo sugimasu ne. We had the best wizard duel he's ever had, probably. Then he suddenly grabbed his staff from the ground, and swung it to deflect my imaginary fireball!! "!!!" He almost stumbled backwards as he quickly moved away, but then he stopped, probably reminding himself that this was all just. His shoulders relaxed, as he continued looking at me. ".Aww? I'm just kidding Mono! I'm fine, we're just playing a game." Mono straightened and dropped his staff, then took a few worried steps towards me. "GAh-.!" I put my hand to my chest and kneeled. He pointed his staff at me again! With frustration! He pointed his staff at me again, this time with more confidence and will. It seemed to offend him somehow, that I deflected his fireball so easily. I grabbed a rake, and lazily swung it in front of me. His head perked up and tilted a bit, in his usual way of expressing curiousity. "Oh zle!" Had to watch my language around the kid. "Oh!!" I ducked down to dodge an imaginary fireball. He hesitated, looked at his staff, and half-heartedly pointed it towards me. He stared at me, and tilted his head slowly. I assumed he was embarrassed to be caught doing something silly. His head and shoulders perked up in surprise, a nervous surprise, as he shook his head frantically. "." He stared, frozen still, then nodded a bit. The poor thing got so startled, he jumped a whole two feet away from me! And hid his staff behind his back for some reason. "Whatchya doing?" I asked with an eager smile, excited to catch him being so playful! I don't think he was afraid of the decoration, the Mono I know was smarter than that. Suddenly he sort of swung the staff with a grunt, pointing in even harder towards the metal butterfly, hands almost shaking. Standing like that for quite a moment, it was getting a little bit concerning. He was pointing it at a decorative copper butterfly on a spring, that I was supposed to put in my garden, but never found the time to. He had some kind of fighting stance, holding a stick he found that comically somewhat looked like a staff, with the end of it being bigger and rounder than the pointy other end. I approached quietly, and caught him in the middle of. One day I was trying to fix my attempt at gardening, when I heard some Mono grunts behind the house. The two times I didn't manage to read him a comic book in one night, he came back to me the next day, in the afternoon, and dropped hints that he wanted to continue the book, mostly by following me around and staring at me, until I inevitably had to ask "You want to finish the story?" to which he'd shyly nod. It was one of the only few things he sometimes asked me for. It's also probably not in his nature to ask an adult to play (for now)īut I can think of maybe one scenario where a game of pretend could happen.ĭid I ever mention Mono liked when I read comic books for him? Ever since that moment in the junk yard, I think It's been special to him. If I'm being honest, and thinking about Mono being in character, I feel like his nightmare world would have nearly killed off his imagination, or just put him in a near permanent alert state that prevents him from letting go. (No YOU are spoiling ME with twice the praise a writer needs to be motivated. if they played a game of pretend? Then again, would poor Mono even know much about playing in the first place? ? That was such a great little story!!! How about.
